We have been breeding North American Curly horses since 1999. When we bought our first curly that we named Cali. We found that our daughter who was very allergic to horses, yet loved to be around them anyway. Could be around Cali without any suffering! The curly horse is the only breed of horse that is hypo-allergenic and there are approximately 4,000 curlies in the world. We also fell in love with her puppy dog personality. From this point on we started learning everything we could about the curly horse and have been quality horses ever since.
We are avid horse riders and we have found as we get older that a dependable horse that doesn't spook at every little thing is much easier on the body. The Curly has many qualities that fit our riding style, their gentle disposition, plus an easy going attitude and willing to please personality. Most have a gait that is just as easy on the body as I have had two back surgeries!
